Thuna Foundation

About us

Care beyond cure.

Thuna Foundation exists so that no one facing serious illness — and no family caring for them — has to face it alone.

Our story

What “thuna” means

Thuna means support — to stand beside someone. That single word holds our whole idea: people supporting people, at the moments when support matters most.

When illness is serious, families are asked to carry things no family should carry alone — pain that needs managing, questions that need answering, days that need gentleness. Palliative care answers that need. It is care that goes beyond cure: comfort, dignity, and companionship, for as long as they are needed.

We bring that care home — because home is where people want to be, surrounded by the people and places they love.

“Palliative care for a brighter tomorrow.”

What we work for
